Valentine's Day is approaching, and you have no idea what to get your loved one.
What about a discreet "I love you" hat? It is simple, quick, and I am confident you have
a spare hat there!

I know several peoples have questions about the needle, I need to know is something new for me too, It works great for me and I have sharing the needle and idea for the others because it really can save time and money for some projects.
But is a manual job yet and not made by a "Engineer". 
So I still don't have all replies for all questions.
I hope can help with this post some common questions about the needle.

The Cut Needle is a project from Luiz Vitor; after some tests with a needle
adjusted to can cut some top materials like an applique for embroidery.
The project is new and still need more tests, but the needle already works
great for specific materials and machines.
It is a hand made job one by one. But we working hard to try find a needle
maker to create it by scale to can get a better price.

You need take a normal needle of your machine and add the cut needle. After that, need discover how to turn off the thread brake sensor of your machine for this specific needle, because machine will run a line to cut the material.

Hera a simple list of material tested:

• felt
• leather
• fake leather
• 4mm 3D foam
• nylon bag material

On your embroidery software the sequence is simple, you need create a line to hold material, and another run stitches between 0.50mm/1.00mm size and assign this line color to cutNeedle and a stop to can pull the material.

By first you need check the depth of needle, some materials maybe need to needle go more deeper.
The point maybe broke by high speed on machine (better rund at 800 spm)
The needle maybe not cut the material you have now.

We not any money over it, the price is to cover the manual job made by a old man here in Brazil and send it to USA and cover the time and help of a friend of mine for distribution there. I can give 100% it will works on your machine. But if you want to send needle back and ask for a refund, we can work on something.

That depends on your machine model brand, mostly of machines have the Boring Function for needle, it automatically turn off the sensor, others you can turn off specific sensor needle by panel, others you can turn off all sensors.
