I recently got a question about the Wilcom E4 new PhotoFlash element. Although converting pictures into embroidery with just one click may sound like a dream, the reality is that I am never really satisfied with the results.
Having said that, after running a comparison test, I can say for sure that there is a little “bird” that can pull that off better than others.
Embird Software www.embird.net has a nice plugin, Sfumato Stitch. As you can see, Wilcom can cost significantly more, but Embird wins the photo to embroidery battle.
Sometimes it is difficult to explain to the client each type of stitch used in the embroidery. So I decided to create this file and share it so that you can embroider and show it to the customer. Remember, you need add foam for last color.

You can find a good definition for Sublimation here.
Sometimes an embroidery client will need a full detailed logo, but because of embroidery limitations we need to take out some of the details. What if your client insisted on the details?
You can offer to him a sublimation+embroidery combination.
Today I will show you how create a patch using a sublimation material inside with an embroidery border.
You will need:
It is important to have a cut line on your sublimation material. Once it is printed, load your embroidery software and create a file with 3 objects.
After file ready. Process on machine is very simple. Check out pictures.
Now your client has a patch ready to sew on any material. And with full details inside.
Hope you like this post and can share with others.
Since the beginning of the month I am working with a new system that serves to organize my work and payments.
And in this run I did not give the deserved attention to a new customer.
And I just got this by email.
"Every time I requested an edit I asked you a couple of questions and you never answered any of my questions. I had to have the same design you digitized for me #148 and the same design again #343 digitized by a different company. Their file stitched out perfectly. Yours kept stitching out oblong --- not round.
I used your company based on feedback from other people, but the lack of communication and the difficulty in getting the designs edited so they stitch out properly is not worth the hassle. I will be using a different company from now on. They are more expensive but I had no problems with the last two designs they did for me..... Not one issue."
I felt really bad, knew that just a retraction email was not enough.
Then at the same time I returned the amount spent and a little more to cover the time lost by the client.
And I also bought a basket with goodies and send it to the address that was on Paypal. It was delivered the next day.
Then I received this by email
OH MY!!! Thank you so so very much for the gift basket. This was totally unexpected. You really didn't have to do this and we are truly grateful for your generosity. This gesture goes to show how much someone cares about their business and evidently you care very much about your customers. It would wrong for me not to continue a business relationship with you, so the next time I need something digitized I will definttely send it to you.
Thank you so very much!!"
I've learned that I can never be so busy that I can not stop and give the necessary attention to each client. Because customer is not just number, they are human!
Very nice embroidery software for a good price! You can open and save embroidery files for most popular embroidery machines. Can save and create mockups easy!
I now offer native Pulse files. Just choose pulse PXF on your next order! Now it is easier for Pulse users to edit or to adapt the design for the best embroidery results.
First of all, I have to thank all the people who like and share my work.
Thanks to you, I have a continuous flow of work and over the time this flow has increased.
For a long time I haven't used any online work order system to keep my work more “personal”, but now, with a larger volume of work, I feel the need to improve myself in order to deliver a better service for you, so I'm announcing that from next month on I will have an online order system.
This system will allow the client to request budgets and service orders as well as follow them online, but it may need some improvement.
Thank you for all the work and let’s walk together in this new stage of Vitordigitizing!
