7/2/2018

Today I just found an mobile app can open some formats of embroidery, like .dst pes and etc.
Software looks basic but let you open files, view and match some colors with most popular brands like Madeira.
You can also add hoop frame from popular machines and export all info by pdf.
I just tested here and liked. For a fair price, you can buy full version.
Here links for:
iphone
android

Enjoy!

pxf orders

I am always trying to offer the best to my clients. In partnership with another digitizer I started offering the Tajima PXF format for those who have this software to edit with ease. I do not make money on these orders. But I realized that I am losing money due to the fees charged by paypal and website maintenance. I'm working to add this software here in the company also to suit you always better. For this reason orders in PXF will be 20% more expensive from next month.
I appreciate everyone's understanding.

CONVERT PICTURE TO EMBROIDERY

3/10/2018

I recently got a question about the Wilcom E4 new PhotoFlash element. Although converting pictures into embroidery with just one click may sound like a dream, the reality is that I am never really satisfied with the results.
Having said that, after running a comparison test, I can say for sure that there is a little “bird” that can pull that off better than others.
Embird Software www.embird.net has a nice plugin, Sfumato Stitch. As you can see, Wilcom can cost significantly more, but Embird wins the photo to embroidery battle.

Sublimation patch

12/1/2017

You can find a good definition for Sublimation here.
Sometimes an embroidery client will need a full detailed logo, but because of embroidery limitations we need to take out some of the details. What if your client insisted on the details?
You can offer to him a sublimation+embroidery combination.
Today I will show you how create a patch using a sublimation material inside with an embroidery border.
You will need:
  • twill or a thicker material
  • sublimation material (you can ask someone to print this for you)
  • glue
  • embroidery machine

The digitizing

It is important to have a cut line on your sublimation material. Once it is printed, load your embroidery software and create a file with 3 objects.
  • a guide line
  • a hold/tack down line
  • a cover line
In this picture you can see 3 objects side by side

Machine

After file ready. Process on machine is very simple. Check out pictures.
Sublimation Material
add backing to easy cut
material ready to machine
don´t need backing
placement line ready
use glue to add material and put on machine again
embroidery ready
cut around
Your Patch is ready with full details!
Now your client has a patch ready to sew on any material. And with full details inside.
Hope you like this post and can share with others.
